When Joey Perry came to me about doing some graphics for the Memphis Open, I was stoked. All of his tournaments are top notch, I’ve got a gazillion pics from each one and I love Memphis.
It is one of those places I’d never been before and never appreciated until last year. We came in a bit early so that we could work with Jacob Wolfman on a video for Kyleigh. The energy, the history, the excitement of Beale Street and the area downtown was mesmerizing. I wanted to capture some of that in the graphics for the event. I wanted to make sure those winners of the guitars were highlighted. I want to make sure to share the favorite parts of being at that particular tournament.
